hey hey,

forgot to mention in my last entry that i was on the ABC 7 morning show on sunday.  it was really cool.. i was interviewed and EVERYTHING.. i stuttered a little in the end.. but ti's all good... we sang well that day too.. i should have pictures up on my snapfish site soon... so let me know if u want to see it...

so i got my prom dress with RAchel C. 2 satrudays ago.. IT'S SOOO HOTT., i mean.. i look AMAZING in it.  I think it's the ONLY dress i've ever worn that i feel amazingly BEAUTIFUL in.  I was sorta sad before i got the dress... cause i couldn't find any.. but when i found it I WAS EXTATIC... PLUS!!! it was ONLY $97 how GREAT is that?!!! and the color is BROWN.. haha (some of u will get the joke in it.)

After me and rachel got back from shopping and eating, we went to my house.... and... WELL.. my family threw a surprise party for me.. IT WAS SOO CUTE.. they made me this quilt with pictures on it.. and there was MONEY, and food.. (but i couldn't eat any cuase i ate soo much when we went out!!)  Ahh.. it was nice to see everyone there.. SO CUTE... it was oodles of fun!!!

we had our vocal jazz night on April 29 and it was amazing, i sang and it came out pretty well... I want to say thanks to all those who came cuase it meant a lot to me.. esp to : Neil, Jenny, Biji, Sybil, and my co-workers John and Knolen, and to all my friends from school!!! i love u guys!!

ok.. i guess i'll write this now... i was going to save it for later... BUT.. i'll do it now.  On tuesday, i got asked to prom by Jiggy.. (it's his nickname).. IN THE MOST CUTEST WAY EVER... of course i said yes, and things have been soo good latley... i'll write a bout how he asked me later... MATT if ur reading things.. UR A COOL GUY.. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING.... (I will NEVER say that again) OK.. ALL DONE.. i think i updated pretty well.. HEHE.. peace out... leave a sweet one....

well well well.. much has happened..

I turned 18, and nothing really great hapopened cause well.. lots of stuff was going on.  Plus i dind't want anything to happen.  I found out that if i had picked up my fone when my friend matt called, then i would have gone out with the brownies from my school.. and one of them was gonna ask me to PROM.. i know.. that was very stupid of me, but oh well.. he'll ask some time this week i think!!

So yeah, the 16th was our Vocal Jazz Festival, and it was really cool.. I was running around running the show like last year.  I was going to be the MC but i didn't wanna do it, cuase well.. i'm better at running things i guess.  But yeah, our guest arits for that night was TAKE 6!!!  They are 6 black guys who sing a cappala music was AWESOME jazz harmonies.  They sing mostly christian music, and they won like 7 grammies and 5 dove awards for catorgires like rnb, christian, acappala and stuff.. SO I'VE BEEN A FAN SINCE LIEK 98!!  So seeing them was AMAZING!! after their Spirit filled concert, (they sang and talked about God and Jesus, and i loved it, even though other were offended, God's name was being praised)  So yeah, after the concert i got the chance to talk to them.  They were really cool.

Some how reba told my friend Mike to tell them that it was my birthday.  Brian McNight's brother (who started the group 25 years ago) asked me what my name was. and of course i said "Briana" and he said "HEY GUYS, IT'S HER BIRTHDAY" people i was so shocked.  The FIRST note was harmonized... i was crying like a baby.  IT's like meeting ur FAVORITE BAND, and they just happen to be singing to u.  IT WAS SO COOL.  I didn't get all of their autographs cause i was busy in the back crying and coiliing cables, but i got to talk to one of them a bit more about God and stuff.. and he's like "it was my birthday on the 7th" and i'm like.. UR COOL CAUSE UR AN APRIL BABY.. i got a picture with him, and AHH..

Those guys are old enough to be my dad, but my goodnes.. GOD is TRULY working in them.  If u wanna know more about them just go to their website www.take6.com  It's soooo worth it.  i know they have a new cD coming out, so i'm really excited.  ahh.. CAN'T WAIT. so yeah,it was def. the best birthday ever.

OH I FORGOT ABOUT WHAT HAPPEND ON FRIDAY... one of our old studnet teahcers from the beinging of the semseter, came with his a cappala group from northwestern called "Freshmen 15" and of course they sang to me, and it was cute. (i didn't cry, but it was cool)  and then i went during one of my free times to see them perform again, and MY GOODNESS.. this guy sang to me.. I WAS BLUSHING LIKE A FREAKING TOMATO.. he was hott, but i found out he was gay.. OH WELL..it's all good!!!  I had a fun birthday, though things at home were rough.. i still had a good time.!!!

THAT WAS ALOT.. time to rest my fingers!! Leave a sweet one.

i'm too exhusted and tired to even talk about how the last couple of weeks have been.. LEAVE SOME ENCOURAGEMENT..i'm trying to LIVE LIFE.. but goodness.. it's HARD!!! Pray that God give me strength through these crazy times... (listening to christmas songs are so relaxing!!)
